Hot topic Ed. Do you read the blogs on the Broncos site? This topic has been rehashed and discussed to no end. A lot of different opinions and perspectives with the most common theme being to grab Dareus. Personally, I’m on the Peterson band wagon because I think he’s the best player, and believe in drafting the best guy over need when you’re this high in addition to this draft being heavy on DT’s. That said, I’d try to trade down a couple places because I think he’ll be there possibly as long as pick 6 or 7.

Margaret: When you hold that high of a pick in the Draft, you have to cover all angles.

I think we’ve got to get a stud lineman so we can get some pressure and run stopping. It all happens on the line even though it’s not as glamorous. When we were great we had Traylor/Smith/Pryce…should have kept Pryce. So, toughen up on the line.

Yes, it could be, but it is a position-specific camp, so it would be important to identify a primary position and maybe a secondary one so he can assess where he stands. Any more than two positions, though, at this camp would be counter-productive. Hope that helps!

Hilary (3/11/11): Yes, the open camp is not only beneficial for those who have a little bit of football experience, but is also a terrific camp for the first-time player. We structure it that way, so kids of all experience levels, especially younger players, have a great time and learn a lot.
