Ed McCaffrey Football Camp FAQ’s

Q: What ages can participate?
A: The camp is for kids ages 8 to 15.

Q: Is the camp open to girls?
A: Yes, girls are welcome to attend the camp.

Q: Is this a contact or non-contact camp?
A: This is a non-contact camp.

Q: What should a camper wear?
A: Shorts and a T-shirt are all that is required. Cleats are recommended for ideal traction on our state-of-the-art artificial turf field.

Q: What should a camper bring with him/her?
A: We provide plenty of water for all campers, and take breaks every 20 minutes. Gatorade is the official sponsor of the camp and will provide water bottles!  All other necessary equipment will be provided.

Q: Does a child need prior football experience to attend the camp?

Our camp is OPEN to all kids ages 8-15 with a passion for the game of football and a desire to learn and have fun. Because ours is a non-contact camp, no prior experience is necessary. Some of our campers are being introduced to football for the first time while others have up to eight years of experience. Campers will be organized by age and ability at the start of camp and will progress through our drill stations and compete in 7 on 7 with the same group throughout the week.

If you have several years of football playing experience we recommend our afternoon ELITE Camp which runs from 12:30pm-3:30pm on the same days, June 25-28, and location, Valor Christian High School.

Q: Can I register online but pay by check?
A: Payment may be made either online by credit card, using our secure transaction process, or by check. If you register  online but choose to pay by check, please send payment to: Ed McCaffrey.com, LLC, 558 E. Castle Pines Pkwy., PMB 344 Unit B4, Castle Rock, CO, 80101.

Q: Are refunds available if we end up unable to attend the camp?
A: If an accepted camper opts to cancel a registration, the cancellation request must be made before June 1, 2018 in order to receive a PARTIAL refund of the camp fee ($100 of total payment is non-refundable). After June 1 there are no refunds available.   There are no exceptions to this rule.

Q: Is there a discount available for registering a team of players?
A: We do offer a Team Discount. Teams registering 10 or more fully paid campers receive two (2) additional complimentary spots in the camp. Sign up 12 campers for the price of 10! To do so, please have the first 10 parents register their child by typing both the team name and coach’s name in the online questionnaire as part of the registration process. Once 10 campers have been registered and paid for, two more children may be registered free by typing the same team/coach information, as well as “Team Discount” in the field labeled “Other Information.”

Q: Will I receive detailed camp information after I register?
A: All registered campers will receive an email after June 15 with detailed information about what campers need to know to be fully prepared. This will include tips on what to wear, what to bring, and how to ensure a smooth check-in process.
